There’s nothing like an old-fashioned sleigh ride to get you in the holiday spirit. Here in Ohio, there’s a special sleigh ride you can take that will temporarily take you back in time. The horse drawn sleigh rides at the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums in Fremont, Ohio are a one-of-a-kind holiday tradition you’ll fall in love with. On select dates in December, you can embark on a unique holiday adventure in the Buckeye State that you can’t take anywhere else. Here’s why you’ll want to mark your calendars:

Every December special sleigh rides are offered at Spiegel Grove. This year, you can take a horse-drawn sleigh ride from December 26 - 31.

Rides are offered from 1 - 4 p.m. each day and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
You'll journey through the wooded estate of President Rutherford B. Hayes, just as he did when he once lived there.

You can take a horse-drawn sleigh ride or a trolley ride. The sleighs hold up to 4 people and the trolleys can take 16 - 18 people at a time.

Sleigh rides are $5.50 per person and trolley rides are $4.50 per person. Children ages 2 and under are free.

Tickets can be purchased at the front desk of the museum on the day of. Reservations can't be made in advance.
South Creek Clydesdales can accommodate up to 400 people a day. It's possible that trolley rides could be offered in place of sleigh rides, depending on availability.
