Most People Have No Idea There’s A Fairy Garden Hiding In Ohio And It’s Magical
Do you believe in fairies?
With the spring season in full swing, it’s not uncommon to see fairy gardens popping up all over the state in yards, private gardens and maybe even a park or two. These miniature gardens are whimsical hidden gems that make you feel like you’ve uncovered a special secret when you stumble upon one. While most are difficult to spot, there’s one hiding in a popular central Ohio destination for the spring season that you don’t want to miss.
Take a look:
This spring, Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus is hosting its very own fairy garden—and it's unbelievably delightful.
Since it's here for a limited time, you'll want to plan your visit soon!
During your visit, you'll stroll through a life-size fairy garden that features a variety of miniature gardens. The 18 miniature garden scenes are adorned with small-scale decorations and figurines that are perfect for little ones to spot.
All throughout the winter season, the Horticulture Team at Franklin Park Conservatory has been hard at work preparing this lovely little exhibit for the spring season, when the fairies take flight and visit.
Whether you call them fairies, pixies, sprites, hobgoblins, gnomes or imps, you'll be filled with wonder as you observe their tiny houses.
Please note: The conservatory is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You'll also get to observe hundreds of butterflies at the conservatory this spring in the Pacific Island Water Garden. The "Blooms and Butterflies" exhibit lasts from March 11 - September 17 this year.
Educational presentations will also take place every day at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Franklin Park Conservatory is located at 1777 E Broad St., Columbus, OH 43203. Have you ever been here before? If so, we want to know what your experience was like!
