This holiday season, how do you plan to celebrate? Here in Ohio, we have magical holiday light tours,German Christmas markets and Santa trains. With tickets selling out fast and schedules filling up quickly, you’ll want to start planning your Ohio holiday adventures now. There’s a little-known Christmas train in Wellington, Ohio that’s the perfect way to get into the spirit of the season.

This holiday season, consider boarding the Lorain and West Virginia Railway's Santa Train. Sip hot chocolate, enjoy the scenic countryside and even meet Santa himself.
On Fridays (Nov.23, Nov 30, and Dec. 7) trains will depart at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. On Saturdays (Nov. 24, Dec. 1, and Dec. 8) trains will depart at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4,p.m. 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. The Sunday train will depart at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 4 p.m.
This family friendly train ride is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit, and the ride lasts approximately 50 minutes.
