Where do you take someone when you want to show them just how stunning the city of Columbus really is? Start with these 17 beautiful spots! Between historic buildings, wonderful nature, and charming neighborhoods, Columbus has plenty of impressive sights.

1. Leveque Tower
This historic building is an icon of our city, and it is truly beautiful, inside and out. Since it's recent renovation, the Leveque Tower can now be
visited by the public
2. Ohio Theatre
Home to the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, the Ohio Theatre has stunning inside decor. It's terrible to think that the building was almost torn down at one point!
3. Holy Rosary Saint John Catholic Church
One of many Gothic Revival style churches in Columbus, Holy Rosary Saint John Catholic Church stands out with its intricate details and its height. It is quite a presence on the street.
4. Main Street Bridge
With the addition of this arched bridge to the Columbus skyline in 2010, the city became even more beautiful. The bridge frames the downtown area behind it.
5. Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
At Franklin Park Conservatory, you'll discover beautifully landscape gardens mixed with art works. A visit here is both a learning experience and a chance to admire gorgeous art.
6. Ohio Stadium
When The Shoe is filled with fans in scarlet and grey, it's really a breathtaking sight. It is the image of the city's love and support for the Buckeyes.
7. Genoa Park
Sitting on the steps of Genoa Park next to one of Terry Allen's deer sculptures, you will see Columbus's skyline at it's best. Gaze at the Leveque Tower and the city's lights reflecting in the Scioto River.
8. Columbus Museum of Art
The Columbus Museum of Art of a must-see for locals and visitors alike. The building was just renovated with the addition of a whole new wing! The museum has a beautiful permanent collection and excellent traveling exhibits.
9. Second Presbyterian Church
The Second Presbyterian Church has a very unique style. You will love the simple yet stunning Romanesque architecture of this structure.
COSI is a huge interactive science museum. For children and adults alike, COSI is a unique and unforgettable visit. The building's neon lighting visible in the evening makes it beautiful on the outside as well.
11. Bicentennial Park
Is there any better place to be during the summer? The Bicentennial Park has a stunning fountain with jets and lights that make for a super fun playground for kids. The park is situated just at the end of the Scioto Mile and has a beautiful view of downtown.
12. Columbus Zoo & Aquarium
The Columbus Zoo & Aquarium is one of the best zoos in the county and is another must-see. It's a huge wonderfully maintained park and such a fantastic learning opportunity for kids and adults alike.
13. Southern Theatre
The Southern Theatre is less known than the Ohio Theatre, but it is also beautiful. With it's deep-set stage, this theatre makes every performance extra spectacular.
