Dine While Overlooking A Waterfall At 17 River Grille Near Cleveland

There’s plenty of incredible dining options in Greater Cleveland, but few places can compete with the views at 17 River Grille in Chagrin Falls. This is an incredible community for a weekend getaway, as it has old-school architecture, small town charms, and one waterfront surprise awaiting visitors. Chagrin Falls is only about 30 minutes from Cleveland, so it’s an incredible place to visit whether you stop by for dinner or plan to stay a bit longer.

Once upon a time, 17 River Street hosted Jekyll's Kitchen, a spot known for having the best views in Chagrin Falls. However, in August of 2020, the space opened with a refreshed menu and new vibe under the name 17 River Grille.

I love locally sourced food, because you're supporting several local businesses when you dig in. In addition to excellent ingredients and delicious dishes, this place also serves up a feast for the eyes. Chagrin Falls is home to an urban waterfall, and it's right next door to the restaurant.

Side options like mac and cheese, house-made coleslaw, and bacon Brussels sprouts allow you to balance out every meal with a bit of oomph. If you're craving something sweeter, swing by at brunch or save some room for dessert.

The space is rich and elegant, but it's also fairly open concept with seats oriented toward the floor-to-ceiling windows. It's a great place to grab a glass of wine... most of their offerings are American, coming from boutique and regional producers.
