The One Town Near Cleveland That Turns Into A Winter Wonderland Each Year
The small cities and communities surrounding Cleveland offer locals the opportunity to explore and enjoy a more relaxed way of life without ever having to travel far. Our nearby small towns each have their own personality and flavor, but they all share a common charm. However, when it comes to enchanting winter scenes, few places can capture the splendor of the season like Victorian downtown districts. At this one lovely location in the south end of Medina County, the community becomes a scene straight out of a snow globe, and you have to see it to believe it.

The Johnson House is a cherished sight in Wadsworth. This charmer is actually a museum, though you'd never guess by its homey allure. It sits at the edge of the charming Downtown streets, dating back to around 1852. Over its history, it was the home to one carriage factory owner, a reverend that would go on to become a Wadsworth mayor, and several doctors. Today it houses a museum that provides free community tours on Saturday mornings between 9:30 and 11:30.
You will probably want to see the local cemetery covered in snow, too.
