1. Zip through the Cleveland Velodrome (5033 Broadway Ave., Cleveland)
The Cleveland Velodrome is certainly not a place for the faint of heart. Here, high-speed cycling is the star of the show. Track 101, an initial instruction class on how to zip through a velodrome, is free for adults, so now is your time to try something new. Spectators can also swing by to check out a few gravity-defying races. Seats are only $5, so you won't break your budget on this adventure!

While the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood is the last place you'd expect to find a farm, it's also the best place to

Surfers love this kind of weather, which is best experienced in late summer and early fall. Every so often, a few brave souls will even dive in when there's snow on the shore!
6. Hunt for Cleveland's own Toynbee tile (3rd and Prospect)
These mysterious tiles dot the streets of cities all around the nation. They bear strange messages, many of which are political in origin, and are assembled in a rather distinctive style. Nobody knows exactly who made or placed the tiles, but they're stuck in the asphalt of many cities. Pictured here is a tile from NYC—if you want to see Cleveland's, you'll have to head out and find it!
7. Travel back in time at the Cleveland Police Museum (1300 Ontario St., Cleveland)
