The Neighborhood Near Cleveland That Transforms Into A Winter Wonderland Each Christmas Season
Everybody knows that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear; however, a few festive lights certainly make our spirits bright too! Greater Cleveland is full of lovely lights during the holiday season, but few places are as festive as this one gorgeous cul-de-sac.
(Don’t miss Northeast Ohio’s very first guided holiday lights tour. Tickets can be found here!)
There is plenty to do in this unique community; from the shopping mall to quirky coffee shops and eateries, Strongsville will keep your inner adventurer busy all year long. During the winter months, the area surrounding the clock tower becomes particularly dreamy.
However, if you want to be dazzled beyond your wildest dreams, there’s one neighborhood in Strongsville that outshines the rest…
This free event has become an annual tradition in this charming neighborhood. It seems to get bigger and better each year, and it even recently achieved national fame when the area competed on "The Great Christmas Light Fight" show on ABC.
This friendly neighborhood is particularly walkable in the winter and it seems that the whole street is immersed in festivity.
Nine of the 11 houses on this cul-de-sac are transformed by the presence of lovely lights, and each display will leave you mesmerized as you pass under illuminated arches.
Visitors are absolutely enchanted by more than 30,000 lights, which will cast a magical glow over the street through the New Year.
To truly get into the Christmas spirit, the event organizer is raising money for two neighbors battling cancer. If you have any cash to spare, remember to spread a little holiday cheer when your visit!
Cars, buses, and pedestrians flock to this beauteous street in large numbers each winter, and you won't want to miss out on the fun!
In just one visit, you'll discover why this community has become Clevelanders' favorite holiday hot spot. You can find more information about the Crown Point Parkway Festival of Lights in the event’s Facebook group.
