What are the best farms to visit in Ohio in the fall?
Adventure seekers will find that there are many things to do in fall in Ohio. In fact, there’s so much to do and see that the Buckeye State is one of the best to visit in the autumn months. As soon as the fall foliage paints the landscape, local farms gear up for autumn fun. The farm at Mill Creeks MetroParks is all sorts of fun in the autumn, and so, too, is the Farmpark in Lake County. Mapleside Farms, just south of The Land, is also an autumnal wonderland. It seems that each community has its own wonders each autumn, so ask around… and don’t be afraid to wing it by swinging by whatever haunted house, corn maze, or pumpkin patch you spot throughout your travels!
Are there any haunted corn mazes in Ohio?
If you’re looking for a haunted corn maze in Ohio, you’ll have to head south of the largely family-friendly attractions of the Cleveland area. There’s a haunted corn field attraction in Cincy that’s downright incredible. If you don’t want to travel that far, we recommend a visit to a real-life haunted attraction closer to home. Cleveland is home to all sorts of incredible historic sites, including a haunted armory. You might encounter a few ghosts hiding in plain sight, as well, especially if you’re in Public Square. The nearby Renaissance Hotel and Terminal Tower purportedly took a number of lives throughout the course of its construction, which some say accounts for a modern day haunting.
What is the largest corn maze in Ohio?
Tom’s Maze is perhaps the largest corn maze in Ohio, and it has received all sorts of attention on the national level for its awesome autumnal activities. You see, it also has what just may be the best pumpkin patch in Ohio. While it is an incredible fall fay trip destination, you’ll also greatly appreciate a visit to a small local farm close to home. All throughout the state are petite, family-owned farms with modest but awesome corn mazes, and they are the perfect place to establish an annual autumn tradition.
