We’ve all heard it before, and sometimes we can’t help but admire the day-to-day of bygone eras. We know, deep down, that we’re romanticizing a mere moment in time, but there is something so enchanting about old school indulgences like tea parties. Fortunately, you don’t have to travel through time to find a tea room near Cleveland… you just have to drive about 25 minutes or so! Prepare to visit one of the cutest tea rooms in Greater Cleveland, because this destination is sugar, spice, and everything nice.
If you have yet to visit the Grand Pacific Junction Historic Shopping District near Cleveland, you are in for a treat.
This charming historic district is located in Olmsted Falls in Cuyahoga County. The oldest building at Grand Pacific Junction was constructed in 1840 and each edifice on site has a story to tell.
While this shopping district is full of surprises, one of the quaintest can be found in the lovingly restored hardware store.
A Bit of New York Bakery, the bakery side of the business, traces its roots down to Hinckley, Ohio. You can still order bakery for your special event, or you can treat yourself to a few treats at High Tea.
The vegetarian bake is a tantalizing pastry full of spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, ricotta, and more. The salmon burger is served on a decadent pretzel bun, and the quiche comes with a side of cornbread. The combinations at Clementine's are, quite frankly, matches made in heaven.
