The One Of A Kind Festival You Won’t Find Anywhere But Greater Cleveland
If you’ve been outside lately, you have probably noticed that a magical change has taken place. The air smells sweet, the breeze is both balmy and welcome, and even the rain feel optimistic. Summertime is coming to Greater Cleveland, and the season is about to be overflowing with quaint small town celebrations. One in particular should be topping your summertime bucket list this year:

As blossoms bloom in the valley, the gorgeous surroundings become particularly lively.

This photo, taken in 1956, shows just how much the festival has evolved over the years. The iconic carnival portion of this celebration was added around 1936, and rides were an addition that came less than two decades later.

The 1989 balloon show was sponsored by Heinen’s and was meant as a nod to the extravagant hot air balloon displays that were once common in the area roughly a century before.

Music, parades, and a race make the carnival and balloon festival truly unforgettable.

For two hours, these dreamy balloons will illuminate the Chagrin Valley. You'll find yourself mesmerized and it will make a memory that you'll cherish for years to come.
