Treat Yourself To An Overnight Stay In The A Christmas Story House In Cleveland
Cleveland is an iconic city that has been featured in a number of films. Spider-Man 3, Marvel’s The Avengers, and other incredible productions have used Cleveland as a backdrop. The most iconic, however, is doubtlessly A Christmas Story. Though set in Hohman, Indiana, Tremont and Downtown Cleveland make this cult classic feel… well, authentic. Today, the A Christmas Story House in Cleveland welcomes visitors to recreate that magic.

Ever since, A Christmas Story is featured in annual holiday movie marathons, on holiday merch, and in conversations. Adorable Ralphie Parker captivated audiences... but Clevelanders also couldn't help but notice their hometown in the background.

Our winter wonderland was captured in this irresistible holiday classic. From shots of Higbee's downtown (where Ralphie spots that darn Red Ryder BB Gun) to the parade in Public Square, you'll spot Cleveland all throughout this movie. You may also recognize, of course, the Parker's House.

Visitors adore the movie museum, but spending the night in this incredible destination is an experience like no other.

Who could forget the Bumpuses? Though they lived there with 785 hound dogs, the grounds are not equipped to handle four-legged visitors.

The “Hound Dog Haven” suite on the first floor of the Bumpus House can sleep up to four guests, and the appropriately named “Stolen Turkey” suite on the second and third floors can comfortably sleep six.

Who wouldn't want to stay in this iconic home? Guests will cozy up in its third-floor loft, enjoying the use of the whole house an hour after the museum closes until 9 a.m. the next day.

Gaze adoringly at the leg lamp or exchange presents with your family! This iconic destination's interior was only used in a few scenes of the movie, but you'll feel like you've been there before as soon as you step over the threshold.

Be sure to plan ahead if you'd like to spend a holiday enjoying one of these two Tremont-area homes! You can book your reservation here.

Rates may be discounted if you plan ahead, so act fast to lock in the best deal possible.
You deserve something magical when you’re craving a getaway, so why not stay in the most magical home in Cleveland? There’s so much to love about this iconic Tremont home.
