Your Tastebuds Will Go Crazy For This Amazing Taco Trail Through Cincinnati
Tacos are a big deal these days. They’re so popular that an entire day of the week has even been dedicated to them (#tacotuesday) and in Cincinnati, we will gather to celebrate this much-loved meal at the upcoming Cincinnati Taco Festival on July 8th. When narrowing down the best tacos in our city, it takes a lot of determination – and stretchy pants. But if you’re up for the challenge, try these eight taco spots around Cincinnati and your taste buds will go crazy.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

A delicious addition to Mt. Lookout Square, El Camino serves Latin street food, which thankfully includes tacos. They have a fairly diverse menu, so you have plenty of reasons to visit again and again, but the tacos (and chips and guac), are definite fan favorites.

If you want authentic Mexican street food, go to the place that learned from the source. Expect to wait a bit, but also expect some of the absolute best and freshest tacos in town.

Located in vibrant Northside, Django serves up innovative tacos and other delicious items. Their patio is a great spot to enjoy your tacos before walking around and checking out the new businesses in this always-changing part of the city.

You know a place is good when there is almost always a long wait. But it's worth it for the fresh tacos and maybe even more so for the guacamole. Try it with a margarita and you'll be in taco heaven.

Gomez Salsa is a popular OTR (and now Walnut Hills) stop for excellent tacos. From the name, you can guess that the variety of salsas are enticing, and they are. Grab a few tacos and enjoy a beverage at one of the several bars in OTR.

When Nada opened on the corner of Walnut and 6th downtown, it was like a breath of fresh air in the gourmet taco world. It continues to impress with its flavorful tacos and other menu items and the colorful, chic atmosphere is perfect for a special night out or an afternoon brunch.

Frida's might do tacos a bit differently, but that just makes them a unique stop along this trail! Their atmosphere is fun and bold, which perfectly matches their menu. And they do Taco Tuesday in a big way with $2 tacos!

Montoya's is a favorite taco destination in Northern Kentucky, especially for families. It's a fun spot to celebrate with the colorful atmosphere and the authentic tacos and their other menu items are very tasty.
We know there are even more places in our city to enjoy a good taco – the trail could really go on for miles and miles! Did your favorite make our list? Which ones should we check out next time? Share your thoughts with us in the comments!
