This Epic Park In Cincinnati Is Perfect For One Last Summer Adventure
As Labor Day weekend approaches, reality has set in that summer is almost over. The cooler temperatures have also been hinting at what’s to come, but there is still time to have one last summer adventure. Near Cincinnati in Fairfield, an epic manmade lake is home to an exciting park that is under new ownership as of this summer. They have big plans for Wake Nation, an adventurous summertime destination, and you’ll want to get in on the fun now before you have to wait until next year.
Just north of Cincinnati in Fairfield is a unique water park where you can learn and practice your wakeboarding skills.
Wake Nation Cincinnati is now under new ownership and this popular spot has a new life and even more exciting features that add mass appeal to this summertime adventure park.
Of course the main feature of the park is still the impressive cable park, where you can wakeboard without the use of a boat.
Don't be scared off by the impressive photo of this wakeboarder. The park has times specifically set up for beginners and they also offer (and even require) lessons for those new to wake boarding on a cable.
They offer an Aqua Park - with new features added this year and more to come - that may be used by anyone ages 6 and up. Through August, the aqua park is open Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 6pm and in September the hours are Friday - Sunday 12:30pm - 7:30pm until they close for the season on September 11th. Although these are the hours on their website, it's important to give them a call ahead of time, just to confirm. The hours also vary slightly for the cable park.
All you need to have fun at Wake Nation is a desire to have a good time.
With plans for more additions to the Aqua Park, a Super Slide, camping, and more, it's pretty clear that Wake Nation is set to become a summer adventure destination for Cincinnati and the surrounding area.
