The Awesome Food Festival That’s So Perfectly Cincinnati

Cincinnati hosts a whole lot of festivals, especially during the summer. But if you’re a true Cincinnatian, there’s one particular celebration that always makes your mouth water. For four days, the entire city comes together to celebrate its very own mystery meat – Goetta.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Are you a fan of goetta? How many times have you been to Goettafest? Share your experience with us in the comments! Goettafest 2018 takes place on August 2nd – 5th. Event activities will be held Thursday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from noon – 11 p.m., and Sunday from noon – 9 p.m. For more information on the festival, visit the Glier’s Goettafest website here.
