The Hole-In-The-Wall Destination That Serves Up Cincinnati’s Favorite Wings
Cincinnati’s neighborhood restaurants are where the locals go for delicious food, good company, and a taste of the Queen City that you can only get from these hidden gems. These eateries are where you meet up for a mid-week meal, or a family dinner, or with the team after a big win. Our city is filled with these and one particular hole-in-the-wall dining destination has some of the best chicken wings around. Wild Mike’s is a west side restaurant with an unassuming appearance, but some tasty food, including Cincinnati’s favorite wings.
Wild Mike's is a casual west side restaurant with a fairly large menu that includes mouthwatering traditional and boneless wings. If you've never experienced the food at one of the three locations, perhaps it's because you were turned off by the hole-in-the-wall nature of them. They may not be flashy, but do you really need that at a chicken wing joint? The answer is no.
The Green Township location, shown above, is conveniently located and often busy, as is the Delhi restaurant, shown below. There is also a Wild Mike's in Miami Heights. It's safe to say this eatery has all residents of the west side covered when it comes to convenience.
The interiors of the three locations are a bit different, but they all have a laid back, sports bar-type feel. Families are definitely welcome, and you'll see everyone from lone diners to large groups.
Even if you don't enjoy wings, the large menu at Wild Mike's has something for every craving. Of course, the wings are a favorite and you can get them smothered in your favorite sauce and then choose from mild all the way up to "stupid hot."
The boneless wings are also a popular choice here, and it doesn't take many to fill you up. Wild Mike's also makes their bleu cheese from scratch and it is absolutely incredible. It might even be the bleu cheese that makes the wings so popular.
When flipping through the menu, you will also find burgers, sandwiches, chicken, fried fish, and even entrees like smothered chicken. There are a few other must-try's, like the Curly-Q fries piled with melted cheese.
The entire appetizers section of the menu is just as enticing as the wings. The breadsticks, shown below, are perfection. Take advantage of the Combo Platter to choose three appetizers to share.
Wild Mike's is an institution on the west side and is always in the running for best wings in the city. The comfortable atmosphere matches perfectly with the savory menu and it's just a great place to stop in with friends for Cincinnati's favorite chicken wings.
All three locations of Wild Mike’s are laid back, quintessential hole-in-the-wall restaurants that are favorites on the west side and definitely serve up some of the best wings in Cincinnati. Are the wings at Wild Mike’s your favorite? If not, we’d love to know which ones you think are the best!
