There are so many amazing restaurants in Cincinnati, and even more on the way as the city continues to make a mark in the culinary world. Vegetarians will find great eats at Melt in Northside and at the Loving Hut in Pleasant Ridge. Steak lovers will be in heaven at The Precinct in Mount Lookout, Montgomery Inn, and at Eli’s BBQ. Below is a list of some tried and true favorites as well as some new stars on the scene. Enjoy!
It's safe to say that 99 percent of people living in Cincinnati have tried Graeter's ice cream. If you're part of the one percent, it's time to make that change. Rich. creamy, and absolutely decadent, Graeter's is a must - even if you're only living in Cincinnati for a day. We're partial to chocolate chip flavors because the chips are more like huge chunks of milk chocolate. If they get stuck in your cone that's a bonus.
Terry's Turf Club is a one-of-a-kind experience even if you don't order a burger - in fact their cod sandwiches and portobello mushroom burgers are great, too. What makes burgers here so great is the use of premium meat and the assortment of toppings, from sauteed mushrooms to halloumi cheese. Bring your appetite because portions are big - and maybe a pair of shades for protection from the neon lights.

There are so many great items on Melt's menu, including their incredible vegan chili, but The Rachel, is a real standout thanks to its delicious rubykraut (red cabbage and apples), making it not your average turkey sandwich. Meat eaters and vegans alike can leave Melt very happy (and stuffed).

The fried chicken at The Eagle in Over-the-Rhine is so good that people line up down the block for the doors to open. Don't let that sway you from checking this place out. This fried chicken is perfectly seasoned, crispy and juicy. Plus, you can order a few of their delicious sides like their mac and cheese and mashed potatoes.

Cha Gio at Pho Lang Thang is a delicious appetizer or a great light snack to munch on while you walk around Findlay Market where Pho Lang Thang is located. These spring rolls have pork, woodear mushrooms, carrots, glass noodles. leaf lettuce - and are fried to perfection. Keep going and get their delicious Pho - perfect fuel for a day of shopping.

Senate in Over-the-Rhine has made a name for itself locally and nationally for its amazing gourmet street food like The Lindsay Lohan - a hot dog with caramelized onions, goat cheese, bacon and arugula. Why is it called The Lindsay Lohan? The menu says because it's got tons of drama (but in a good way). Make it a complete meal and order the duck fat fries. You will not be disappointed.

Well, of course we had to include a shout out to Skyline. Like Graeter's. Skyline is a Cincinnati staple that you must experience once (or every week for many in the Queen City). Go for a simple bowl of chili or shoot for a five way - spaghetti, chili, onions, cheese and beans. Also perfectly acceptable:
Camp Washington Chili, Price Hill Chili, and yes, Gold Star.
It’s hard to go wrong when it comes to choosing a place to dine in Cincinnati. In every neighborhood you’re sure to find something to please your palate – and even become your own personal favorite.
