This Beloved Cincinnati Bakery Now Has A Food Truck And Serves Ice Cream-Stuffed Donuts To Die For

Busken Bakery is one of those treasured places in Cincinnati that has been pleasing locals for generations. The bakery has been serving some of the best cakes, cookies, donuts, and other treats since 1928 and is very much an institution in the Queen City. This summer, the bakery decided to add to their already sweet repertoire with the opening of the Halo Donuts Food Truck. This unique truck serves ice cream-stuffed glazed donuts that make for the perfect snack or dessert and are sure to satisfy any Cincinnatian’s sweet tooth.

With many locations scattered around the city, most Cincinnatians know and love this local bakery. The location on Madison Road is open 24 hours and you can smell the sweetness even before you can see it in person.

This truck takes a fresh, glazed donut and stuffs it with Graeters or UDF ice cream, and then presses it to make a one-of-a-kind ice cream sandwich. If you love ice cream and donuts (who doesn't?), then you'll want to come get in line.

For now, the food truck is located in the parking lot of the Madison Road location and is open Tuesday – Thursday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday & Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. The truck is closed on Mondays and may close early on other days if they sell out!
