This Epic Train Ride In Cincinnati Will Give You An Unforgettable Experience
If you love trains, Cincinnati is a wonderful place to be. Train tracks, both active and inactive, are scattered throughout our city — and, of course, we have Union Terminal that provides the best view of a busy rail yard. But you might not be aware that Cincinnati has a train solely dedicated to taking you back in time. Hop aboard the Cincinnati Dinner Train and you’ll fall in love with our city all over again.

Three finely restored 1950s era dining cars will transport you back to a time when people took in the view out of a moving rail car, while enjoying the pleasure of each other's company.

You'll board the train on E. Seymour Avenue and head toward downtown, allowing for a new perspective of Cincinnati.

Choose from Prime Rib, Salmon with a Spicy Hoisin Glaze, or Boneless Chicken Breast sautéed in white wine sauce. Your entree will be accompanied by appetizer, salad, vegetable, baked potato, choice of dessert, water, iced tea, and coffee. As you ride along, you'll dine on crisp white table cloths and enjoy the classic singing of the fabulous Queen City Sisters.

You are free to roam between the cars (aside from when the entrees are being served), or visit the Queen City Tavern car for a drink. The entire trip is approximately three hours long.

It's recommended that you reserve your tickets at least 1-2 weeks in advance, as these Saturday evening rides do sell out. The Dinner Train operates every Saturday, year round, with the exception of January and February.

This car fits up to 60 people. You still have access to the bar car and can even bring your own meal aboard with you. The Cincinnati Dinner Train is one of the most unique excursions in the Cincinnati area, and its timeless appeal and 40s-era atmosphere provide an unforgettable experience.
