We all need a little adventure in our lives and something to get our heart rates up a bit. About three hours northeast of Cincinnati, you’ll find the ultimate adventure park to satisfy this need. With the main attraction getting you high above the ground, with only a rope between you and the dirt beneath you, Mohican Adventures in Loudonville is a hidden gem you need to check out with the whole family.
Mohican Adventures offers something for everyone when it comes to adventuring in Ohio.
The six courses vary by difficulty and start with two green courses, which are closest to the ground. From there, you can go up to the blue, red, and black courses - that is, if you've proven you are worthy of the challenge.

The creative course is set up to test you physically and mentally.
You must be at least five years old to try the green course and seven years for the blue course. From there, it continues to depend on age, but also the length of your reach, to make sure you'll be able to physically cross the course. Keep in mind that you must complete at least one of the greens to try blue, and then complete a blue to try red, then conquer the red course to be able to try your hand at the black course.
Plan a weekend of climbing among the trees and then relax with a peaceful paddle along the river. Mohican is the hidden adventure you've been looking for. The Aerial course is open June - August 10am - 5:45pm daily. In May and September, it remains open between 10am -and 3:45pm Saturday and Sunday, as well as weekdays are by appointment. For adventure the rest of year, call for availability.
