Brandywine Falls is the majestic 60-foot waterfall you’ll find in Cuyahoga Valley National Park — in fact, it’s one of the park’s top attractions. And you can see it in all its glory from several hiking trails at the park. Personally, we’re most fond of the low key Brandywine Gorge Trail, a short and sweet hike with a beautiful payoff.

A layer of hard rock (specifically, Berea Sandstone) caps the waterfall, protecting softer layers of rock below.
The Brandywine Gorge Trail is only about 1.5 miles in length, so it's a great hike for beginners.

It's an easy loop hike as well, so there's no need to worry about getting lost.
The best way to hike this trail is to go counterclockwise. Begin at the parking lot and take the paved trail over the waterfall.

This trail is open all year, although it is best hiked from April - October.
