Although it seems like a private beach, Irish Beach is a public beach in Mendocino County. There are fewer crowds at this beach compared to Manchester Beach to the south.
To get to Irish Beach, you need to stay somewhere in the Irish Beach community or take a long walk north on Manchester Beach.
The breathtaking cottage in Northern California is called, "Grandma’s Spectacular Beach Cottage”. This laid-back cottage is in an ideal position– perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean. It is just a one-minute walk from Irish Beach.
The cabin has three bedrooms and one bathroom. The cozy living room is equipped with a fireplace to keep guests warm on cold nights. The open kitchen overlooks the living space and has all the appliances you’d need to make a good meal.

This cabin is located a short distance off of Shoreline Highway. There are not many amenities in this neighborhood, aside from a lovely local park.
There are two small grocery stores about 15 minutes south in Point Arena. You’ll want to bring a cooler full of food and drinks when staying at this coastal cottage. There are three restaurants within a 20-minute drive.
A short drive south is the Point Arena Lighthouse and several popular scenic spots.
