Located in a converted barn, this unique brewhouse is truly one-of-a-kind and it's easy to see why people love it. GoatHouse opened fairly recently, back in 2013, but it's already been named one of the fastest growing independent craft brewing companies in the country.
GoatHouse was born out of a desire to create an atmosphere full of simple pleasures. Boasting handcrafted beer created from locally sourced ingredients, it's evident the brewers at GoatHouse know their stuff when it comes to beer. However, it's not just the beer that draws people in.
The brewhouse embraces a true "farm-to-glass" experience. The big red barn which the brewery is situated in was repurposed completely by local materials, artists, and suppliers. They grow their hops on-site and pick fruit staright from their orchard. It doesn't get any fresher than this.
Even the farm's goats have an important role in the beer-making process! They keep the hop fields pruned and fertilized so that they can produce the best hops possible. On top of that, they are just so adorable and fun to interact with.
GoatHouse is a family-friendly destination where children are welcome. Food trucks are almost always located on-site so that you can indulge in some delicious grub with your craft brew. Picnics are also welcome, and frankly, we can't think of a better picknicking destination.
