Last summer, the Carr Fire wreaked total havoc on Northern California’s beautiful landscape. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area was a victim to a lot of damage, but the region is slowly but surely coming back to life. Over the past few months, the park has been opening up certain areas of the park to the public once again, including this beloved swimming creek. Brandy Creek Beach was one of the recreation area’s most popular spots, and it’s officially open for the season. We couldn’t be more excited to see this adored swimming spot available to us once again, so be sure to check it out this summer.
