Referred to as “The Christmas House”, this is a time-honored tradition for many Northern California families. Every year, the nursery opens up their Christmas House. This treasured tradition first started back in 1985. Back then, the Christmas cheer was confined to a small corner. Today, it's a lavish showcase of holiday decor and novelty items.
The house's most notable feature is the 60 or so intricately decorated and lighted trees that are scattered throughout the rooms. Seeing them all is a challenge you'll definitely want to take on.
Each room has a different theme and is decorated according to that theme. The house in its entirety contains just about every type of decorative item you can imagine, including candles, angels, nutcrackers, snowmen, Santas, and so much more.
Admission into the Christmas House is free, but you can purchase any of the decor or ornaments that are showcased. If anything catches your eye (and believe us, it will), be sure to take it home with you!
West End Nursery is really your one-stop-shop for any type of holiday item you may need. They also sell wreaths, gifts, stocking stuffers, gardening tools, and any other Christmas-y item you may need or want.
The Christmas House is built into the main West End Nursery building. You'll find it by going through the main entrance and turning left at the Christmas tree display. You can't miss it!
