Grace Cathedral is located at the top of Nob Hill in San Francisco. You can take a cable car via California Street to get to the top of Nob Hill as well.

Grace Cathedral was founded in 1849 during the California Gold Rush. However, the cathedral was destroyed in a fire during the 1906 earthquake. The current neo-Gothic structure of the cathedral was completed in 1964.
Grace Cathedral is home to not just one but two labyrinths. Visit the labyrinth outside the cathedral to experience a walking meditation or just to calm the mind and enjoy peace and quiet.
You can do yoga at Grace Cathedral every Tuesday. Yoga in the cathedral is a unique experience. Several hundred people of all ages, from all over the city, gather to do yoga. More information about yoga at the Grace Cathedral Site.
These impressive and ornate doors at the Grace Cathedral are called the Ghiberti Doors. No need to book an expensive trip to Europe because the Ghiberti Doors are a replica of the Gates of Paradise from Florence, Italy.
Come by on a weekend and walk around the cathedral and enjoy the many events and stalls that are often set up. Grace Cathedral is active in the community, so you'll be able to see many events happening that are usually free too.
Art and music can often be found at the cathedral. There are hosted art exhibits and programs at various times throughout the year. Currently, the art exhibition is called Jacob's Ladder.
