Lers Ros is dedicated to serving authentic, unique and fresh Thai dishes. The only authentic Thai restaurant with rabbit, frog and venison on its regular menu, but even the pad thai rivals the best you'll find anywhere in Thailand.

Yamo is a hole-in-the-wall, located in the Mission, with only 8 seats at the bar. Dirt cheap, and better yet ---- no dish is more than $6. Also, all dishes are made fresh right in front of where you sit!

Darbar Restaurant is located on an eccentric block of Polk Street, and next to a lingerie shop. But, this restaurant serves freshly made and tasty Pakistani and Indian dishes spiced to order. Our favorites include; chicken boti, basmati rice, Palak Paneer and curries are delicious. Awesome!

Look beyond the exterior and eat up! Pictured is the Bulgogi beef and hash browns with sunny side up eggs. Art's Cafe serves up all-day breakfasts, American lunches and Korean BBQ in an old-school diner with counter seats only.

Turtle Tower may seem like any other place, but not so. This is the place to get pho in Fog City that even other restauranteurs enjoy.

Bill's Place may seem like another burger spot, but this diner is known for serving burgers named after local celebrities. Get the Giants Burger (cheddar cheese, bacon and avocado), of course, with fries.

Well known and appreciated by the Mission crowd and respected as one of the best places for burritos in Fog City. El Farolito Taqueria serves tacos and burritos until late-night for the post-bar crowd.

For over 100 years, this "unassuming" lunch counter and seafood market in the Polk Gulch neighborhood has been a local favorite, serving up oysters, great clam chowder and beer.

One of the premier "hole in the wall" places, in a little spot in North Beach, which serves late night burgers, fries and pizza should be on your dining bucket list. This is old school San Francisco in every way.
