San Francisco Was Just Named One Of The Best Places To Live In America And We Couldn’t Agree More
San Francisco has a great reputation though many can debate the merit of all the praise. Still, San Francisco was named one of the best 100 Best Places to Live by
U.S. News & World Report for its job market, culture, food, nature, overall quality of life, and more! Are we surprised by this? Not even a little. There are many reasons why we find San Francisco to be one of the best places to live. Let’s see why the 415 made this list:
1. Job Market
On a scale of 1-10, the job market rating here is nearly 9. Jobs abound here in tech, business, healthcare, real estate, and more.
Believe it or not, San Franciscans have great weather compared to the extreme contrasts in cities like New York or Chicago. This is a city built for year-long outdoor activity. Now, try jogging in a snowstorm in Denver or Boston?
3. Nature and the Outdoors
San Francisco truly values the great outdoors. There are over 220 parks and open spaces like the Presidio dotted throughout the city.
4. Cutting-Edge Technology & Innovation
Like the techies or not, San Francisco, and of course Silicon Valley, has always been a hub for world-changing innovation. Unlike other more conservative places, the city is attractive for movers and shakers.

Wine is appreciated here more than any other major city in the USA. Napa Valley is only an hour-and-15-minute drive away. The wine here is some of the best in the world.
This is an obvious one. Just look at all of the iconic and stunning attractions. It’s gorgeous.

Not many American cities have the same sense of civic engagement. The large scale diversity, passion for social justice and equality have created a politically and culturally active community.
