Sigmund Stern Recreation Grove, locally called Stern Grove, is a 33-acre recreational site in the Sunset District of San Francisco.
Stern Grove is a wonderful place to enjoy music of all forms from rock, opera, dance, world music and more in an unparalleled outdoor setting. And best yet, the festival is free!
Food trucks are available in the West Meadow of the festival. The festival offers an assortment of food and drinks, and a portion of all food and beverage sales goes to support Stern Grove Festival.
Stern Grove is as well an outdoor recreation complex with athletic fields, courts, a children’s playground and dog play area. Walk or jog around Pine Lake, or take a look around the grounds at Stern Grove. In particular, the Trocadero Clubhouse is charming.
