It could be as well any commuter bus for Facebook or Yahoo as well. San Franciscans have an unpredictable relationship with the presence of these buses getting preference on the road, so many end up getting a little ticked off.
3. Invite them to Fisherman’s Wharf.
Some local snobbery can come out at times, and Fisherman's Wharf brings it out. Fisherman’s Wharf is a tourist trap filled with corporate chains, sea lions, and almost no residents. Any self respecting San Franciscan would steer clear unless they were showing off the spot to visitors.
4. Disrespect thier Dog.
Yes, San Franciscans care more about dogs than you'd ever think. Pets, especially dogs, are important for many Americans, but in San Francisco we more than adore dogs. 5. Bay Bridge Traffic.
If you mention the Bay Bridge and drivers, this can be absolutely nightmarish to drive. The traffic in the San Francisco Bay area has become worse and worse, so if you live in the city and use the Bay Bridge, then be prepared.
6. Non-natives claiming to be real San Franciscans.
San Francisco has become a transient city, so people come and go quickly in the city. There's definitely pride in being able to say you grew up right here in the City by the Bay. However, don't make someone angry by claiming you're a real San Franciscan.
7. Burning Man.
Talking nonstop about your trip to Burning Man will make real San Franciscans cringe. Despite having some humble and noble beginnings, Burning Man is now the butt of plenty of jokes about salaried techies partying in the desert in their fuzzy boots and goggles.
8. Not Recycling.
Cringe-worthy all over the Bay area like Berkeley and especially of course San Francisco. Whether you need to recycle waste or throw out something permanently, this city is a leader in recycling and trash collection. 9. Numerous Construction Sites.
When you utter the topic of construction it brings up delays, detours, and of course traffic. The frustration and risks of living near a construction site in San Francisco are high. As the city economy is booming, so is the construction industry. There are as many cranes, as people in the city know.
10. Eat at a fast food chain.
