Just grab some friends, climb aboard, and get pedaling. Adventure is just a sip away.
You may have already heard of those things called "brew bikes" that are slowly taking cities by storm. Sure, they look fun, but they are nothing compared to the one and only Sacramento Brew Boat!
With the Sac Brew Boat, you can experience the Sacramento River in a way you never would've dreamed possible. The 16-passenger Brew Boat provides an hour and a half of pedal-powered fun while showcasing some of the city's most glorious sights and destinations.
Tours start and end at the Public Docks in Old Sacramento. Guests are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in before hopping aboard the fun-loving chartered boat.
The cool thing about the Brew Boat is that you're actually pedaling it down the river. There are 10 pedal stations onboard the boat, so not everybody has to pedal if they don't want to. In fact, the boat is equipped with a small electric motor so that pedaling is not required, but definitely encouraged.
Unlike Brew Bike tours, the boat does not stop at any bars throughout the tour. The tour is completely BYOB, or "bring your own beer", and they allow each guest to bring up to three drinks including beer and wine. Food is also welcome aboard so be sure to bring something to munch on!
The Brew Boat is perfect for group activities such as birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, anniversaries, work events, or what have you. The boat embarks on daily cruises from March through October. Custom tours and special requests are welcomed but be sure to call them ahead of time to make arrangements.
