The history of the hotel dates back all the way to 1952 when there were a number of wooden structures on the property. It wasn't until 1859 when Owen Fallon constructed a brick boarding house and soon after named it the Fallon Hotel.
Over the years, the hotel was known by many different names and owned by many different people. The state park officially bought the structure in 1947, and the rest is history! Guests can now stay in this elegantly restored hotel, complete with Victorian antiques, stunning lithographs, and authentic furniture.
