Mount Dana in Northern California Takes You Above the World

At 13,053 feet, Mount Dana in Northern California’s Yosemite National Park will take you high above the rest of the world. It’s one of the California’s many “thirteeners,” or mountains that are more than 13,000 feet high. Despite its enormity, Mount Dana remains one of the most popular thirteeners among hikers, for a number of reasons.
