The Floating Pumpkin Patch In Northern California’s Roseville Will Be Your New Favorite Tradition

Living in Northern California means we sometimes have a unique way of doing things. Whereas others may plan a visit to the nearest farm to pick up their annual Halloween pumpkin, there’s one town in our region of the Golden State that does it differently. The city of Roseville holds an annual “floating pumpkin patch”, and it’s actually quite amazing! Both young and old will have a blast as they swim around while looking for the perfect pumpkin to take home with them. On top of offering a unique way of picking out a pumpkin, this event has a lot of wonderful family-friendly fun to offer. Partake in a new tradition this year and check it out!

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:
