Editor’s note: This event does not appear to be happening anymore, but feel free to visit one of these other flea markets in NorCal instead!
What makes flea markets so awesome? Is it unique discoveries? Or, maybe it’s the joy of a treasure hunt? For some it’s designing on a dime that brings them far and wide to the best flea markets around. One of the best in Northern California just happens to be on an island.
Are you ready for the BIGGEST flea market in Northern California? What began three years ago as a way to highlight local business and artisans has become a HUGE place to shop for unique treasures!
Every last full weekend of the month you can come to what some have called "The Festival By The Bay." Join the 15,000 people who know already this is the best flea market around.
Jump inside a VW bus and have some cool photos taken. You're going to need those great shots for your social media--after all, we need to let everyone know what we're doing at all times, right?
Bragging about your food is a thing out here. You're going to have too many choices and not enough room in your belly. But, we're over-achievers. Challenge accepted.
Not everything is doll heads and crazy items. This, for instance: homemade teas that you're going to want to take home. If you're looking for some flavors you can't get in those big box stores you're going to want to make a beeline for this booth first.
But, if you're more into full length furs then here's where you'll be. Not sure I've seen anyone in furs since Cary Grant was on the big screen, but hey, to each his own.
You're looking at salted caramel chocolate chip cookies. If you find yourself here when the flea market closes you may be able to get some even better deals. Vendors hate to load their cars back up, so help take that stuff off their hands.
What are you doing the last full weekend of every month? Time to plug this monthly flea market gem into your calendar. I’ll meet you at the cookie booth.
