This year, the Country Christmas Faire will take place November 29, 30, and December 1 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. Whether you're looking to get a start on your holiday shopping or simply on the hunt for a unique family attraction, this fair definitely won't disappoint.
The fair will feature four large exhibit buildings filled with thousands upon thousands of handcrafted items. The market typically hosts more than 100 artisan crafters, ensuring that you'll come across a wide variety of unique gifts and trinkets.
The market is definitely the highlight of this iconic Christmas show, but there's really all sorts of fun to be had at this community-oriented event. From the community bonfire to the strolling musical entertainment, this event is an utter blast for anyone and everyone.
One of the fair's most iconic events is the Ornament & Gingerbread House Competition. Anybody is allowed to enter, so consider submitting an entry form if you think you have what it takes! Top prizes include up to $100 in cash, gift baskets, and gift certificates.

The fair will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Price of admission is just $5 for adults and is free for children 12 and under.
