The Chapel In Northern California That’s Located In The Most Unforgettable Setting
The Northern California Coast is home to one of the most unique, interesting, and beautiful chapels in the world. The Sea Ranch Chapel, located just south of the town of Gualala, celebrates its beautiful surrounding scenery and spirituality in a non denominational setting.
The Sea Ranch Chapel was completed in 1985 and took 9 months to build.
The place is truly exquisite, inside and out. The detailed mosaics continue the organic and flowing homage to the surrounding natural beauty of this region.
As do the stained glass windows, which are a nod to the decorations of traditional churches but also fall in line with the building's whimsical nature.
The Sea Ranch Chapel is open 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset for anyone from the public to visit. It's now maintained by the The Sea Ranch Chapel Foundation.
