North Light is a delightful amalgamation of a cafe, bookstore, bar, and record shop. It's the perfect place to disconnect from the outside world and lose yourself within the pages of a good book.
The vision for North Light came from a desire to design a space where creative individuals can come to read, write, talk, or just chill in an elegant environment. We think this space accomplishes just that!
However, this place is far from your average bookshop. The total number of books available is small, but it's the way they're picked that's really special. North Light asks artists from the community to pick a handful of titles to feature. Artists like Patti Smith, Michael Chabon, George Saunders, and Samin Nosrat have all contributed their personal picks.
You'll also find that the food is just as inspired as the bar's creative concept. On the menu you'll find some Mediterranean-style eats, all of which boast a fresh and light quality.
During the daytime, enjoy an espresso drink while diving into a good book. When evening falls, the libations come out. The cocktails are ambitious and creative, but accessible to everyone—not just liquor snobs.
