Spud Point Crab Company is a family venture, opened by a seasoned commercial fisherman and his wife 14 years ago. The restaurant's fresh crab and Wild King Salmon are caught personally by the owner, Tony, and his son's boats.
The small, 360-square foot shop is usually always bustling with hungry patrons trying to get their hands on the most delicious crab in the state. The menu is simple, but it contains all you could ever need.
There's no better way to enjoy freshly-caught crab than on a sandwich. Their Crab Sandwich contains 1/4-pound of crab meat mixed with their homemade sauce and served on a homemade roll. So simple. So delicious!
However, their iconic dish doesn't even contain crab. Carol's Famous Clam Chowder has continuously been regarded as some of the best in California...maybe even the country. They serve both Manhattan and New England clam chowder—piping hot and loaded with clams.
