Catch A Livestreamed Beach Sunset With These Webcams Placed Along Northern California’s Coast
There’s truly no better place to enjoy an evening sunset than one of Northern California’s gorgeous beaches. But let’s be honest, it’s not always possible to drive to the coast to see one! Luckily, there are some virtual alternatives to visiting the beach in person. Located all along NorCal’s coast, beach webcams can be found at many of our favorite coastal spots. And since they are streamed 24/7, you can tune in anytime to get your daily dose of beach beauty. Take a look:
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. The live Surf Cam from Half Moon Bay is a great tool for surfers, but it's also a great way to pretend you're at the ocean when you're actually stuck indoors! See it here.

This live webcam from the Lawrence Hall of Science at University of California-Berkeley overlooks the San Francisco Bay Area. They even offer a time-lapse of the previous day's footage, so you can observe the bay from sunrise to sunset. See it here.

Lastly, there are several live webcams near the pier in Pacifica, California that provide a 4K view of the ocean streamed directly to YouTube. This multi-camera stream allows you to switch between different views AND go back up to 12 hours. Watch as people walk along the pier at Sharp Park Beach and Mori Point. For a moment, you may just feel like you're there. See the cameras here.
Excuse us, we’ll just be streaming these beach webcams all day long from here on out. Nothing beats visiting the beach in person, but these live streams are a pretty good alternative. What’s your favorite NorCal beach? Let us know in the comments below.
