North Dakota Is Having A Sunflower Superbloom And It’s Incredible To See

North Dakota is one of the top two producers of sunflowers in all of the US. We’re reaching the peak time of the year for sunflowers to be in full bloom, and you can see it yourself. This sunflower “superbloom,” as some people have called it, is a gorgeous sight and one you can see by simply driving down ND’s highways, byways, and country roads.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Have you seen North Dakota’s beautiful sunflower fields this year? There is actually a small town that hosts a sunflower festival dedicated to these beautiful crops. It’s coming up in September of 2019 and you can check it out for yourself by clicking here.
