Life tends to be easygoing and pleasant in North Dakota. We’ve got tons to offer, including a great place for anyone to grow up. It’s a pretty sweet deal but it can totally ruin anywhere else you happen to go later in life. We’ve been a little spoiled by living here, and when we move away here are some things that will linger with us:
1. You'll miss seeing as many stars as you do in North Dakota.
6. Winters everywhere else won't live up to winters in North Dakota, and everyone complaining about what they think is a cold will make you roll your eyes.
If you love North Dakota as much as I do, you’d never leave anyway, at least not in spirit. If you grew up in small town North Dakota you probably know exactly what I mean and here’s why growing up here is the best.

Leah moved to North Dakota when she was 12 years old and has traveled from the Red River Valley to the badlands and many places in between. She loves small-town life and currently enjoys living on a small farm in the ND prairie. She's always had a passion for writing and has participated in novel writing challenges such as NaNoWriMo multiple times. Her favorite part about this job is recognizing small businesses that deserve a boost and seeing the positive affect her articles can have on their traffic, especially in rural areas that might have otherwise gone overlooked.
