The Fort Seward Annual Covered Wagon Train is an unforgettable adventure everyone should experience at least once. It has been happening each year for nearly half a century! This year it will be taking place from June 24th-30th, 2018.
Each year, a covered wagon train like the settlers used, starts at Fort Seward near Jamestown, North Dakota and heads out into the prairie for a multi-day trip.
During meals and overnight, everyone will stop and rest or camp for the night. You'll need to bring a tent with you, but meals and other amenities will be included with the trip.
During the trip, especially when camping, musicians will play music, stories will be told around the fire, and plenty of other enjoyable activities will be going on.
This is truly a one of a kind experience that you only get one opportunity to take part in during the year, so don't miss it! You do have to register beforehand and spaces are limited.
