Everyone Will Love A Summer Adventure Kayaking Down The Missouri River In North Dakota
The Missouri River is an important part of North Dakota’s landscape. It brought many explorers and settlers through the land and was once extremely important for trade. Today, it passes by the state’s capital city of Bismarck and is the river that feeds Lake Sakakawea, one of the largest manmade lakes in the country. Besides its important part in history, the Missouri River is also a source of great fun. If you're visiting Bismarck, North Dakota, you can't leave without first seeing the majestic Missouri River. The historic city bridges over the river add to the lovely sights.
You can take on the river by walking along it in parks like Keelboat Park or even take an excursion on the old Lewis and Clark Riverboat, but there's no more true of an experience than canoeing or kayaking down it yourself.
