The CP Holiday Train Will Be Bringing Christmas Joy Across North Dakota Once Again For 2019
Whether you’ve never seen it or you make sure to visit it every year, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be making its way across North Dakota once again in 2019 – and you don’t want to miss it. With six ND cities on the schedule, plenty of Christmas spirit to spread, and lots of fun to be had, here’s everything you need to know about the train’s journey across the prairie this year:
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train makes its way across a few states and provinces to spread Christmas cheer and help those in need for the holidays. You might see it traveling across the prairie, bright and lit, throughout December.
The train is decked out in blinking lights and can be seen from miles away in the night. It will be making its way through North Dakota on December 14th and 15th in 2019.
During that time, it will visit the following towns in this order: Hankinson, Enderlin, Carrington, Harvey, Minot, and Kenmare. In each town, it will make a stop that draws in big crowds.
During each stop, special railcars open up to become stages for live music and special performances. Anyone of any age can come to enjoy the entertainment, no tickets needed.
There will be musicians playing holiday songs both traditional and modern. This event isn't just about fun lights and music, however - it's also about helping others. Though it's free to attend, people are encouraged to bring non-perishable food or monetary donations that will go directly to each town's local food bank.
With its mesmerizing lights, fun atmosphere, and giving goals, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is truly a special Christmas experience that you won't want to miss.
