Here Are 2 Eclipse Parties In North Dakota Perfect For Viewing The Big Event
The Great American Eclipse is right around the corner and you don’t want to miss it. Here is our article about the eclipse when, where, and what it will look like for us North Dakotans. If you want to view the eclipse, why not go to an eclipse viewing party? Many local libraries and museums are giving out or selling the eclipse viewing glasses that are important to wear for eye safety and some of them are even hosting parties for the big event! Here are two of the bigger parties happening in the Peace Garden State:


Starting at 11:00 AM, Gateway to Science will have a viewing party for this big event. They talk about everything you need to know about the eclipse and fun facts. There is also a reduced admission price to the center at only $4.00 per person! They are currently sold out of viewing glasses so you will have to find glasses elsewhere if you don't have them already. And no, regular sunglasses aren't enough, your eyes may become damaged. Eclipse viewing glasses block out nearly all of the sun's rays.

The party begins at 11:00 AM on August 21 and will go on until 3:00 PM. Along with having glasses and being able to witness this mesmerizing event at the zoo, you'll be able to see special animal presenters they will be hosting and they will also be selling hotdogs and brats to enjoy. It's a fantastic opportunity to witness this important date.
