You Haven't Lived Until You've Seen This One Incredible Canyon In North Dakota

Leah moved to North Dakota when she was 12 years old and has traveled from the Red River Valley to the badlands and many places in between. She loves small-town life and currently enjoys living on a small farm in the ND prairie. She's always had a passion for writing and has participated in novel writing challenges such as NaNoWriMo multiple times. Her favorite part about this job is recognizing small businesses that deserve a boost and seeing the positive affect her articles can have on their traffic, especially in rural areas that might have otherwise gone overlooked.
From the vast, wide open prairies to the rugged badlands, North Dakota is full of natural beauty. It doesn’t get much prettier, however, than the painted canyons in the west. This particular spot draws in hundreds of visitors who want to get a glimpse of one of the most gorgeous sights in the Peace Garden State. This particular view already looks amazing in pictures, but you have to see it in person to understand how simply breathtaking it is.
The River Bend Overlook is located in the North Unit of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, located near Watford City, North Dakota. There are equally as beautiful overlooks and sights in the South Unit near Medora, North Dakota as well! For all the information on this park, click here.
