The Magnificent Bridge Trail In North Dakota That Will Lead You To A Hidden Overlook
Head out to North Dakota’s only wooded, untouched gorge and cross over the river that flows through it to find an amazing overlook that’ll blow you away. This area is known for its beauty, and this scenic route will show you just how amazing it really is. Over the bridges and through the woods to a fantastic overlook we go!
The truly stunning Pembina Gorge near Walhalla, North Dakota is a sight everyone should see at least once - especially in the fall as it approaches.
The gorge is full of mostly untouched forest with plenty of trails for hiking, mountain biking, horses, and a scenic route for cars.
You can take County Highway 55 through this breathtaking landscape on the Rendezvous Region Scenic Backway, which will take you on a short 11 mile drive through the valley and over the Vang Bridge.
Off of County Highway 55 is a path that leads to the old and magnificent Brick Mine Bridge. This historic bridge spans across the Pembina River and offers a truly lovely view. Thanks to Be More Colorful for this image! Check out

This area is great for more than just the scenic route. It's a recreational haven in places like the Pembina Gorge State Recreation Area and Tetrault Woods State Forest. The river is great for canoeing or kayaking, and there's trails galore around.
