These 10 Cities In North Dakota Have The Best Schools
For a lot of people, one of the deciding factors for choosing a place to live is the quality of the school district in the area. North Dakota has many school districts across the state, but which ones are the best? Niche.com ranked the top school districts in the state based on factors such as academic scores, resources, safety, quality of teachers, and more. We have compiled a list of the top 10, and here they are:
Westhope starts us off at #10 on the list. The areas they excel in are resources, extracurriculars, and overall academic scores.
Next up is Wyndmere School District 42. Their test scores, extracurriculars, and sports scores tend to be their highest.
Richland School District comes in at 8 with a fairly high rating in health and safety, followed by good academics, resources, and more.
At number 7 on the list is Leeds. They have a great score in resources and facilities, while also having a good overall score in academics.
Almost halfway through the ranks, next is the Medina School District in, you guessed it, Medina. A great facilities score coupled with good teachers and resulting high grades give this place number 6 on the list.
Munich School District takes the fifth spot. They have quite high academic scoring for the state, and have fairly good ratings overall for everything else.
At number 4 on the list is the Ellendale School District in Ellendale. They have perfect scores in health and safety, resources and facilities, AND extracurricular activities. Not to mention great scores in academics and sports, too. This might just be the school for you!
Third place on the list goes to the Grand Forks School District. With a 4/5 star rating directly from students and parents, this place is hard to beat. Their great teachers are one of their biggest contributing factors.
Number 2 on the list goes to the Lakota School District. Out of all the factors contributed, most are passed with flying colors. The district provides a great place to learn.
In the extreme northeast corner of North Dakota is our number 1 school district - the North Border School District, based in Walhalla. They have great scores in everything overall, earning them the top spot.
