Wintergreen Falls Trail is located in Dupont State Recreational Forest, near Hendersonville.

This area is popular not only for hiking, but for horseback riding and mountain biking.
To reach the trailhead, you'll take I-40 to exit 46A toward Hendersonville, then take NC 280 South for 16 miles to US 64.

Take US 64 for almost four miles, turn right onto Crab Creek Road, and go 4.3 miles to DuPont Road. Take a left on Sky Valley Road and look for the Guion Farm Access Area after about 1.6 miles.
This trail is about three miles in length, and it's ranked as easy.
